FinCon 2018 just happened. Four days at a conference with 2000+ other people interested in money was incredible. I went to reconnect with many of the awesome people I met last year, meet more amazing ones this year, and learn.
I did all those things and will write soon on the whole experience but today I just wanted to share about a new publication and say thank you.

I’ve been a big fan of both Joshua Becker and Brian Gardner for years as a reader of their blogs and their digital magazine Simplify Magazine. Today they’ve come out with a terrific new magazine, Simple Money Magazine.
It’s a quarterly, digital publication aiming to provide “simple, practical financial advice for the modern family.” The magazine is ad-free, reader-focused, and features expert contributors writing practical, helpful content for the modern American family. Each article is chosen, not for a click-bait headline, but because it contains information anyone can benefit from.
I’ve already downloaded the first issue with amazing articles from some names those of you in the personal finance community will surely recognize – Vicki Robin, Philip Taylor, Brittney Castro, and more.
Simple Money Magazine (affiliate link) offers a lifetime subscription to the magazine for only $20, and you get access to all issues—past, present, and future! You can grab the first issue for free. But they’re currently running a buy one lifetime subscription, gift a lifetime subscription, though the end of October, so it’s a great time to get one!
Plutus Awards – Thank You!
I was utterly blown away to receive the ‘Best Gen X or Baby Boomer Blog’ award at the 9th Annual Plutus Awards at FinCon. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart!
Congrats again, Amy! Here are a couple candids from tonight. ? pic.twitter.com/3ZFViU2r9d
