Frequently Asked Questions on Life Zemplified’s Nutrition & Transformation Coaching Program
Q: Who is this program for?
A: Life Zemplified’s Nutrition & Transformational Coaching program is for those who want to get in the most awesome shape of their lives and stay that way for the rest of their lives.
It’s for stuck or busy women and men who want personal accountability and structure, and a coach to help keep them focused, consistent and on-track.
It’s for those wanting to improve their eating and exercise habits—all within real day-to-day life circumstances and situations.
Q: Who is this program NOT for?
A: This program is not for people who already have all the accountability and motivation they need. It’s also not for the professional figure or fitness models, professional bodybuilders, or high-level or extreme athletes training for a particular sport.
It’s probably not for you if you rarely struggle with consistency in your exercise or eating habits.
Q: Will this program work for me?
A: Follow our curriculum and recommendations for the full year and yes, you will get results. But you have to stick with us and commit to making the small strategic and necessary changes in your life.
It takes hard work, time, and determination, but it is so worth it. Changing your body may not be easy, but it is totally doable.
Whether you want to lose weight, eat better, feel less stressed, or get more sleep, we can help you do that and more.
You make the commitment and we’ll back you up and be with you every step of the way. Over the course of a year, you’ll learn everything you need to look, feel, and perform at your best. We help you put it all into action.
Q: Do you guarantee results?
A: Stick with us for the entire year and follow our recommendations. If you don’t get what you’re looking for at the end of the year, we’ll discuss options for getting you the results you desire. While we cannot guarantee specific results and we do not provide complete refunds, we do want you to succeed and will do what makes responsible sense to get you there.
Q: Who are you and what makes you qualified to coach?
A: I’m Amy Blacklock, founder of Life Zemplified, Pn1 certified nutrition coach, certified life and health coach, and wellness professional. I’m devoting myself to making health, fitness, and greater well-being practical and achievable for others. Please visit my about page if you’d like to know more.
I’ve been coached, trained, and educated by world-class programs and teams. I’ve collaborated with other coaches, doctors, exercise specialists, naturopaths, dieticians, and counselors and I embark on continuous education to stay informed and focused.
Q: Do you give me a structured meal plan?
A: No, we don’t require structured eating, as that’s not sustainable. We don’t want you to feel like you’re either “on” or “off” the plan. Nor do we want you to feel like you’ve failed and are beyond hope if you’re not eating perfectly at every meal.
Instead, we help you build a set of habits that are sustainable to serve you for the rest of your life. This means you get to choose—with our help —which foods are best for you, when to eat those foods, and how much to eat of them.
We do, however, as an option, provide recipes, meal guides, and shopping lists to help you experiment, plan, and organize meals for efficiency.

Q: Why do you offer this type of program?
A: Because I don’t believe in fad diets, quick fix detox plans or fake-food programs. I believe in lasting change that takes some time to incorporate. I see a need for evidence-based nutrition education and supportive coaching. I’ve been fortunate to learn, take action on, and succeed with the knowledge I’ve amassed and I’d like to share it with others. I’ve seen family, high school friends, and co-workers, die way too soon or have their lives impacted negatively due to unhealthy lifestyle choices. I’d like to make a difference.
Q: Why this program? Can’t I just read a book? Or read online for free?
A: While I personally love reading and encourage it, I also know that most of us are not transformed by reading blogs, books, or articles. Sometimes not even from taking a class. Most effective, lasting change happens through relationships with other human beings—usually mentors or coaches – and sound, proven systems.
You can always try another diet book or read a few more articles. But if you’re having trouble putting what you read and learn into action, then this program might be right for you.
Q: I’m a beginner with a lot of weight to lose. Will this work for me?
A: Yes. It’s worked for lots of people new to exercise and healthy eating. Everyone is a beginner at some point. We’ll do our best to make sure you work at a pace that’s right for you.
Q: I’m NOT a beginner. Will this program work for me?
A: Yes, because the interactions you’ll have with us are tailored to your needs and goals—it’s not a “one size fits all” program. Letting us taking care of the nutrition and exercise programming for a while allows you to focus on improving other areas of your life and well-being.
Q: What if I don’t have much weight to lose but just want to eat better?
A: Because lifelong health and wellness are more than losing weight, this program can also work for you. You’ll learn how to maintain a lean and healthy body for life and develop an improved, healthier relationship with food and eating.
Q: I’m interested in building muscle. Is this for me?
A: Yes, we have optional custom exercise programming and nutrition habits for people who want to gain muscle while losing fat.
Q: I’m thinking of joining with a friend or partner. Can we do the program together?
A: Yes. We encourage doing the program at the same time as a spouse, friend, or family member but you will each need your own individual account. (Discounts provided when joining and starting the program at the exact same time.) The immediate social support received when joining with others makes a real difference for many clients. Spouses, mothers and daughters, fathers and sons, sisters and brothers, coworkers, and best friends often join together.
Q: Is this just for young (or old) people?
A: It’s for men and women of all ages.
Q: Do I need to submit my weight, measurements, or progress photos?
A: Technically no, although it’s pretty important for us as your coach to understand your weight and measurements and see what’s happening from your photos. This is so we can help and give you better advice as required. However, we won’t ever require progress photos, they remain completely optional.
Any photos submitted are kept totally private at all times. We’re here to help people change their bodies and their lives. Not to embarrass anyone or bring up feelings of shame.
We really do encourage you to stretch yourself and get out of your comfort zone. But, whether you submit progress photos to us or not, we really hope you’ll take and keep them for yourself to visually document the changes you’re making while going through the program
Q: Will I have to spend a lot of additional money on food and supplements?
A: Lots of clients actually end up saving money on their food & grocery bills. With more informed, careful decisions, clients eat out less, buy less processed novelty foods, replacing them with whole, delicious natural foods, and receive a bonus of more money left in their grocery budget.
Supplements may be recommending in a few circumstances, based on your unique needs and goals. However, these are completely optional.
Q: Will I need to join a gym?
A: Nope, you don’t have to join a gym or any special exercise facility to be successful with our program. Any exercises can be performed at home. If you already are a member or want to join a gym we can develop exercise programs to fit your needs should you choose that option.
Q: I don’t live in the U.S., can I still participate?
A: Certainly. Although the program is only available in English.
Q: I currently do _____ (Yoga, Crossfit, running, biking, swimming, skiing, group exercise classes, walking my dog, etc). Can I still do that while receiving your coaching?
A: Absolutely, continue doing things you enjoy. Our coaching will help you learn how to eat for your life and exercise in a way that’s sustainable while fun. Together we’ll figure out how to structure things.
Q: I already have a personal trainer. Can I keep that up while getting nutrition coaching with you?
A: Yes, feel free to do both. Once you sign up, just let us know you are working with a trainer so we can make sure to integrate the two programs.
Q: I have a few injuries. Can I still join?
A: Yes, as we can tailor certain exercises to fit your needs.
Q: I follow a special diet (plant-based, vegan, Paleo, intermittent fasting). Will you still work with me?
A: Sure, the nutrition habits are easily customizable to your dietary preferences/restrictions.
Q: How long does the program last?
A: The program is for a period of 12 months. Continued research, shows a full year is the most effective time frame for building the overall habits necessary for lifelong health and fitness.
We’re committed to helping others make a life-changing transformation. We ask for everyone to do the same and commit 12 continuous months to the program.
Q: I’m not sure I can commit to 12 months right now, is a shorter time period an option?
A: Again, the program is designed for a 12 month period as that’s been proven most effective.
With that being said, we do understand that some people may be a bit apprehensive about committing to a full year initially. For those, we can offer a six-month plan with an option to continue for the full 12 months, however, no discounts can be applied in this scenario. Please contact us if you are in this situation.
Q: What happens when I sign-up and pay?
A; Within 24 hours of payment confirmation, I will enter your name and email address into the ProCoach system. You will be sent a welcome email from ProCoach with instructions on how to complete your initial coaching assessment. From then on you will have a direct communication link to me at any time within the ProCoach system. My commitment is to respond within 24-48 hours.
Your first coaching lesson will arrive on the Monday following your assessment completion. You will also receive supplemental information from me during this first 1-2 week time frame outside of ProCoach.
