Just a quick post today to tell you about Women Who Money, the new personal finance site for women!
My friend Vicki, from Make Smarter Decisions, and I, created the site to help educate women on personal finance topics, improve financial literacy, and give more voice to women in the personal finance space. And while our focus is on women, we welcome the men to visit too!
We’ll have a team of writers and guest contributors, from various backgrounds and a wide variety of experiences and age levels to ensure we are providing something for all women.
The site is just getting up and running, but I’d be thrilled if you’d check it out. Here’s our big welcome post to get you started! Please share it with any family or friends you think would benefit from it.
I still plan on producing posts on finance, fitness, food, and fun here, so it’s a darn good thing I quit the cubicle. Blogging is a lot of work, and full-time jobs seem to get in the way. Go figure!
I’d love to hear your feedback on the new site. And if you are interested in writing, sponsoring, or getting involved in some other way, please get in touch with Vicki or me, either here or at WwM.
Oh, and I also wanted to let you know that I had the honor of selecting Rockstar Finance Content for this week. Now that’s some work! It was incredibly fun to read so many terrific posts, but it was also incredibly difficult to narrow down choices.
Please forgive me if I didn’t choose one of your posts, there were only so many slots to fill. I knew it couldn’t be easy, but now I’ve got so much more respect for the excellent team at Rockstar. Especially it’s originally leader J$ who thought of the concept and Cait who previously selected the features so well.
Now, if you’ve not already done so – please go check out the new site!
The new site looks great! Looking forward to seeing it grow.
Thank you! We’ve got great plans 🙂
So much fun! The best thing is the collaboration with you and all of the women writers! Hoping we can make some change in this world and support women in their quest to take control of their finances!
Amen! Yes, enabling them to make some positive changes in their financial lives would be wonderful.
I can’t imagine what life would be like had you remained in that cubicle job for even one more second! Great things are opening up for you now! Best wishes with the new site.
Me either! 🙂 Thanks Mrs. G!
Congrats on the huge week! I’m so excited about your new project (yay women and money and collaboration!) and I’m headed over there now to check it out 🙂
Appreciate it Erin! 🙂
Congrats Amy – best of luck with the new endeavor!
Thanks AF! 🙂
Congratulations, Amy! I can only imagine curating being a difficult task. When choosing which post to vote for in the Rockstar Rumble, that provided me with a glimpse of what it might be like for the team at Rockstar.
Thanks! Yes, crazy difficult, yet so fun too!
Wow what an exciting project! Love the multiple collaborator approach!
Thank you!
Yay! I love this! Thanks for putting it together!
Thanks Jennifer!
